Okay, disclaimer. I didn't watch the Oscars, primarily because our cable provider didn't carry it and because I just wasn't keen on watching the whole show. Two hours or so is a lot in my Mommy universe. But I did watch snippets on You Tube and here are my favorite parts.
1. Anne Hathaway winning for her role as Fantine in Les Miserables

As I said in my Les Mis post, she was amazing and truly deserved an Oscar. I am so thrilled she won. And golly did she look fabulous! Her pixie cut suits her and she looks so gorg that I have major hair envy. I used to sport short hair a couple of years back, you know. Maybe it is time to have a new hairstyle. Hmmm.
2. Jennifer Lawrence's fall

It was heck of embarrassing for her but it made her so much more endearing. She is so real, no? And did you see how Hugh Jackman came to her rescue? Such a gentleman! As if we need yet another reason to love him more!
3. Channing Tatum and Charlize Theron's waltz

Two of my favorite Hollywood stars dancing, what's not to like? Channing was so dapper and moved really well. And Charlize, who knew she could dance too? Did you see her kick? Wow. The OC in me should be bothered that Channing was a bit tinier than Charlize, but I actually found it cute when he had to tip toe when Charlize turned.
4. Les Mis musical prod

Ooh. Goosebumps galore! Wasn't it so good? And they sang live! Even Russel Crowe's part was good, to my surprise. My only beef with this prod, no Gavroche.
